I was nominated for a writing award a few years ago, but something told me that my writing needed to be seen everywhere. So I decided to make my first film, "Follow Your Heart."
After filming my first film, "Follow Your Heart," I realized that I needed to learn more about the production side of filmmaking. This includes everything that goes into getting a film seen after it is shot.
I met Perry B. Anthony at my annual "The Gary Wideman Reading Fest" event. Perry is a Texan filmmaker who now calls Denver home. I told him about my feature film, "The Great Detectives," and asked him some production questions. He generously offered to help me get my film off the ground.
